5 top tips to save money in Ibiza:
1. Don’t go out too early
Ibiza doesn’t get going around midnight so don’t bother going out early evening like you would in the UK, it will simply result in you spending loads of money in bars before you even get to the clubs.
2. Buy your tickets in groups
Club entry is again very expensive in Ibiza, but if you buy advanced group tickets you will be able to get much better discounts.
3. Don’t drink in the clubs
Alcohol is stupidly expensive in the clubs and bars in Ibiza. Hit the supermarket and get some pre-drinking done before you head out.
4. Share taxis or get free club buses
Some clubs will put on free buses from certain points if you have pre-booked your ticket. Make the most of them, or failing that make sure you fill up your taxi. There is bound to be other people heading the same direction as you, so team up and split the cost.
5. Don’t visit Ibiza in peak season
Although you may think Ibiza is one place in particular that you have to visit peak season (June to August) in order to get the best atmosphere, you could be very wrong. The Ibiza season stretches from May right through until September, and with massive opening and closing parties it is often much better either side of the main summer period. It’s cheaper too!
Ibiza doesn’t have to be a really expensive holiday. It all depends on how careful you need or want to be with your money. There are plenty of ways to keep your holiday to Ibiza cheap whilst still having loads of fun.
Other tips to save money on your Ibiza holiday include:
- Book all-inclusive. This way your food and drink is included in the price and you will no longer need to go out to expensive bars and restaurants.
- Alternatively, go to the supermarket and cook in your room if you have a self-catering hotel.
- Book really early or really late. This is when you will get the best deals.
